One Ghostbuster, three Stormtroppers, and a Death Star Operator *bewooooooo*
So this weekend I experienced my very first Comic con. For those not in the know, that's convention. Specifically one for comics. It was pretty cool, like being at a very big comic book store. Saw some cool fan movies, like Batman: Dead End and Grayson. Both very cool mock trailers. Also got to get some comics signed by two of my favorites in the buisness: Artist Tim Sale and Writer Brian Michael Bendis.
Bendis currently the god of Marvel comics was polite and very nice, he signed a comic to my brother who didn't come, which was cool.
However Sale stole the show for me. As an off-and-on asipiring comic book creator, specifically comic artist it was just a joy to meet him. Of course I geeked out and didn't know what to say, but getting him to sign my copy of Batman: Dark Victory was awesome. But to add to it Sale drew Two-Face/Harvey Dent next to his sig. I couldn't stop smiling. He also told me to not let anyone tell me I was a Zero. I shall take that to heart, even if it was said due to my hoodie's design. Anyways. Cool experience, can't wait till next year. Cheers
